This is one of the coolest new marketing products with some serious benefits. These DVD replications are flexible and use 40% less plastic. They play just like the standard products we have all been using.

IMC Optical, a well known supplier recently introduced the product and the ingenious brand name - FlexiDisc. They actually can be bent and return to shape.

I'm not sure about the whole "Green Friendly" thing and how the use of 40% plastic effects it. But, it sure as heck can't be bad to be producing less emissions during production. Not to mention the waste factors when discs are tossed in the trash. Can you imagine if every disc in the world used 40% less materials? I'll have to leave this discussion up to the experts.

I can tell you one of my clients is about to save some serious money mailing out thousands of these DVDs since they mail in a quick sleeve for under an ounce.

We are also excited about possibilities of attaching FlexiDiscs on ads in publications to safely make it through the mail or even to affix on products.

Have you ever wished that you could turn your PowerPoint presentations into effective email marketing tools and track who opens them? We have tried several other solutions in the past. The problem was they were expensive and usually didn't work right. Recently, we decided to give the presentation applications by PresentationPro a test drive.

Boy are we glad we did. In a few hours time we put together a brief PowerPoint presentation about what we do, converted it to a web friendly Flash file using the PresentationPro tools, uploaded it to their sever and sent it to about 40 of my contacts. The results: 18 opened the presentation, 11 watched it all the way through, and 3 people contacted me to do more business! Not bad for the first try. 

We are not suggesting that you use this method in cold prospecting. But, it sure can be quite effective with warm prospects and current customers.

One of the other ways I have been using it is when I meet a new prospect when I'm out and about. I ask if I can send them a brief presentation by email. The answer is always yes. And you know what? They watch it and are prepped for when I make a phone call for the appointment. I'm pumped. Are you?
